Porsche launches PCCM Plus for 911 997

A retrofit factory option now brings modern sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality

Porsche Classic has launched its much-anticipated PCCM Plus double-din infotainment system for the first generation 997. The PCCM Plus units feature a seven-inch touchscreen and DAB+ radio. Crucially, they provide Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality to the 997 for the first time. Full worldwide availability is anticipated from February 2023.

For those with older 911s, the PCCM head unit is already available via Porsche Classic for models with a DIN-1 or DIN-2 slot, so all 911s from the F-model up to the 993 are catered for. The PCCM Plus version, already available for the 996, has now been extended to 911s from 2008 onwards. Prices for the new 997 PCCM Plus unit are anticipated to come in at around £1,420 (including VAT), with an SD card for sat-nav maps expected to cost £100. The part number for Europe, Australia and New Zealand is 99764259000. For the US market the part number is 99764259100.
