740bhp 2024 McLaren 750S - most powerful Mac

The McLaren 750S has just been unveiled, and it takes up the mantle as most powerful model produced by the British firm.

Launched in 2017, the 720S was designed to deliver an exhilarating driving experience while offering a high level of comfort and luxury. Now the 750S picks up where its predecessor left off.

At the heart of the 750S lies a 4,0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces an impressive 740bhp/551 kW and 800 N.m of torque. This performance is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the 750S to accelerate from 0-62mph/0–100 km/h in 2,7 seconds and reach a top speed of 212mph/341 km/h.

The exterior design of the car feels both sleek and aggressive, with aerodynamic styling inspired by McLaren’s F1 cars. The car’s carbon fibre construction not only contributes to its performance, but also gives it a distinctive look that sets it apart from other supercars.

The doors feature McLaren’s signature dihedral design (upwards opening), which not only look cool, but also makes it easier to enter and exit the vehicle in tight spaces. Inside, the 750S features a blend of technology and luxury. It’s upholstered in soft leather and Alcantara, with carbon-fibre accents throughout. The car features a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment screen that can be controlled via either a touchpad on the centre console or by voice commands.
