Prices for the second-generation NX range have been announced by Lexus
The NX 350h features a 2.5-litre petrol engine with self-charging hybrid technology, while the NX 450h+ adds plug-in functionality. Sitting on the company’s GA-K platform, shared with the Toyota RAV4, the newcomer is marginally longer, wider, taller, and with a longer wheelbase than its predecessor.

Costing £965 more than its four-wheel-drive predecessor, the NX 350h costs £38,300, with the F Sport edition priced at £47,300 and the luxury Takumi version costing £51,800. The plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ Premium Pack has a price tag of £48,800 with the F Sport at £54,800 and Takumi at £57,800. The entry level NX features 18-inch alloy wheels, 9.8-inch touchscreen and cloud navigation system, faux leather upholstery, LED headlights and a suite of safety systems. F Sport versions feature 20-inch alloy wheels, a sportier exterior and interior and adaptive variable suspension, while Takumi editions have a Mark Levinson 17-speaker audio system, digital rear view mirror, remote and automated parking and a panoramic glass roof. Buyers ordering a NX 450h+ in October will get a free charge point by British Gas, with the first customer deliveries of the car set for January next year.
