Walter De Silva Hongqi S9 Supercar launched

A new supercar designed by ex-Alfa Romeo stylist Walter De Silva has been launched at the Shanghai Auto Show. The Hongqi S9 is a joint Italian-Chinese project, designed and built in Italy. 

Covered-wheel racing cars inspired the S9’s shape but luxury is equally targeted. Design features include a long tail, carbon structure and variable geometry rear wing. Inside are digital readouts for both driver and passenger, with instrumentation on the steering wheel and dashboard.
