Hyundai Seven concept teases Ioniq 7
Hyundai has teased its Seven concept, which previews an all-electric SUV that will be revealed at the Los Angeles Motor Show later this month. It’s our biggest hint yet of how the Ioniq 7 will look when it’s launched in 2024.
The close-up image of the car’s nose is focused on its headlight and daytime running lights, which are made up of individual square elements that Hyundai calls ‘parametric pixels’. The upper lighting element forms a wide band, just one pixel deep, sitting at the leading edge of the bonnet above a swathe of high-gloss black trim. Beneath this, there’s a lower grille with a square pattern, flanked by a vertical strip of illuminated pixels.
Hyundai says the interior will offer a ‘personalised lounge ambience’, with furnishings trimmed in sustainable materials that provide a ‘refined, eco-friendly mobility experience that reflects the changing lifestyles of its customers.’ While the interior is likely to change considerably for production, the Seven concept may reveal if the finished SUV will get five or seven seats.
More on the Hyundai Seven next month, once it has been revealed at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
