Hennessey starts production on VelociRaptor 400 and VelociRaptor 600

Hennessey’s engineering team enhances the stock Bronco 2.7-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with a new intake and exhaust system, engine software recalibration and larger front-mounted intercooler system for the VelociRaptor 400.

The result is an impressive 411bhp and more than 600lb.ft, meaning this Bronco can hit 60mph from standstill in just 4.9 seconds. The famed Ford fettlers have also started production of the VelociRaptor 600 too, a 558bhp version of the F-150 with a whopping 672lb.ft torque. Like the Bronco, this extra pulling power comes thanks to a performance intercooler, high-flow induction kit, and recalibrated software. The increase can be seen quite clearly in a drag race in a video over on our website.

Both VelociRaptor 400 and 600 have their looks enhanced and off-road performance improved with revised bumpers, new wheels with massive tyres, and custom graphics. Production of the VelociRaptor 400 is limited to just 200 units while just 225 VelociRaptor 600 units will be built in 2022 to ensure exclusivity, but Hennessey have been forced to bring forward their production schedule to meet high customer demand.
