Honda confirms a trio of electrified models for 2023

Along with the hybrid Civic, Honda also confirmed its plans to expand its electrified line-up with three further models in 2023. In the process, it will create Honda’s ‘widest European line up for many years.’ It will include a B-segment SUV, a C-segment full-hybrid SUV and an all-new Honda CR-V that will be available as both a full-hybrid and plug-in hybrid.

Previewed by the e:Ny1 Prototype, the smallest will need to take on the Toyota Yaris Cross, and the electric SUV will provide Honda buyers with a more practical electric vehicle than the Honda e, which is also likely to get a longer range.

“The new models we will introduce in 2023 set the course for the next generation of electrified Honda cars, all retaining the engaging driving dynamics, comfort and exceptional usability to which our customers have become accustomed” said Tom Gardener, Honda Motor Europe’s senior vice president.
