2022 Renault Captur R.S. Line E-Tech plug-in hybrid

Following the introduction of the plug-in hybrid editions of the Captur range last year, Renault has introduced an extra trim level coupled to the drivetrain.

Available to order now, the R.S. Line E-Tech plug-in hybrid costs £32,695 and is priced at £1,500 more than the lower specification S Edition model. CO2 emissions are 34g/km, with a combined fuel economy figure of 188.3mpg. As the name suggests, there’s an altogether sportier appearance, with F1-style blade low down on the more muscular front bumper, a honeycomb grille, LED headlights with C-shaped signature and three-dimensional effect rear lights, a grey rear diffuser, R.S. Line badges on the wing and tailgate and 18-inch alloy wheels.

In addition, there’s rear privacy glass, red stitching and red stripe detailing on the seats and a similar effect for the leather steering wheel. Prominently displayed, there’s a 9.3-inch infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and start, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, climate control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, rain sensor and automatic headlights. Safety is taken care of thanks to a standard-fit lane departure warning system, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking and traffic sign recognition. The new R.S. Line model in the Captur range is available to order now from Renault dealers.
