New 2024 MG Roadster's debut pushed back to April

MG will unveil its two-seat electric roadster in April. The sports car, codenamed ‘Project E’, was due to be unveiled this month at the Guangzhou motor show, but the launch has been put back over concerns that the show would be axed due to ongoing Covid restrictions in China.

When the car does arrive, it will be “a game-changer”, according to MG UK commercial director Guy Pigounakis.

First UK deliveries are expected at the start of 2024.
