VW thinks big for its revived electric scout
The reborn International Harvester Scout will be built in South Carolina in volumes that could reach as high as 200,000 vehicles per year.
Production of the Rivian-rivalling electric 4x4, arriving with SUV and pick-up variants, will start in 2026. The news follows a $2 billion (£1.66bn) investment in the American plant for the brand by its Volkswagen Group owner.
