2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport Urban Edition
An axe has been taken to the Discovery Sport line-up, with the range considerably slimmed down compared to before and a new Urban Edition model brought in to replace the previous S models.
Whereas in the past there were 14 diesel editions, this has been slimmed down to just 7 iterations, while the petrol models have been similarly hit, with the range reduced to 7 models, down from 11. P300e plug-in hybrid editions continue as before with 3 versions.
Entry-level Discovery Sport models now feature larger 18-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, five seats, low traction launch, 10-inch touchscreen and secure tracker with 12-months subscription.
The new Urban Edition models builds on the equipment of the outgoing S models by featuring 20-inch alloy wheels, the sportier R-Dynamic bodykit, free metallic paint, rear privacy glass, panoramic roof, black exterior pack, ClearSight interior rear-view mirror and suede and faux leather seats. Interestingly, the newcomer costs between £200 and £1,185 more, depending on the drivetrain it is paired to. The new Discovery Sport model range is available to order now, with some versions actually costing less than before.
